Default 2000 ds problem

I have two stock carbs sitting in the garage, six new plugs, every tool needed to get a DS up and running, and finally a day off on Saturday. Drag that pig up here to Johnson Valley and we'll get her dialed in. A variety of riding areas to get a good all around picture of what's going on, all within a short distance of one another. It'll be worth your two hour drive, mine is an hour and some change, but willing to do it to help out a DS brother. I've got a handful of jet sizes to try out also.
Let me know as I may head to Glamis or Ocotillo if not lending a hand.

If its popping when you give it gas in gear but will rev fine in neutral it sounds like what happened to me.

Something was wrong with the voltage regulator and after they replaced it everything worked fine.

i dont think there was anything wrong with them what i did find was that the solenoid behind the battery was extreamly dirty the bike is running much better today i get the occasional pop when i get on the gas but what really has me worried is the transmission it is really notchy and i cant upshift with out the clutch and when it does go in gear it feels rough i really hope its not the shift forks.
