Erbe,
Good luck with your dynoing. I look forward to the results as does every one. Congradulations on your completion and enjoyment of your big bore. They are fun.

This is the 1st Aluminum Sleeved Plated DS big bore that I know of, so testing for durability and reliability will be for this comming 2007 season to see how she holds up to abuse.
while this cylinder is being tested I am all ready working on a another pair of cylinders with larger surface area around the top of the cylinder with supports added from the inner walls to support the top of the cylinder with more surface area for sealing and keeping the top of the cylinder from any movement if any detonation accures and for running more radical cams and higher compression, I still think this can be done on a stock cylinder for way under 800 bucks with welding, milling surfacing, bore and plating ( dont know what bore yet 720 or just a 700),
Others have to have tried this already. Hell, Ive had mine done over a year. As for doing it again, I'll pass. I know you hate some aftermarket companies but you can get a bare casting a lot cheeper than what it takes to do the welding and machining of a stocker. That is the way I'll go if I do it again.

Anyways, thats just what I think

Sorry No Dyno yet, I had to reschedule due to some problems with 520 conversion, Aluminum Sprocket , and swing arm change over, should be done in 2 more weeks, I have also got a TM48 now, and would like to Dyno both on the torque curve, im working with a Great Connection Member on a Ron Woods Pipe also, and would like to compair the Big Gun amd the Woods, gonna cost extra scratch but I would like to see these items compared on the dyno.

My Axel was threads got killed when I went to have the Aluminum Sprocket Hub pressed on, found out the kid that did it had be to be 24 years old, he didnt tighten the axel nut flush on the end on the axel when he pressed oh say 50 tons plus on the nut and REMOVED 3/4" of the threads, so now Ill have to have the ends turned and rethreaded sometime soon might get it cromed then also, but on the good side MR DSNUT yes Mr DSNUT saved my fanny pack, he had an axel for sale and is shipping it to me hopefully tomorrow once he receives his payment and shipping ups blue (2day) service, shouldnt take long to replaces it, im getting fricken fast at taking that axel off and on.

Again Thank you Ron!!!

I had a great conversation with Glenn (sandbomber) and he is right!!! you guys are great, helpful, when a brother DS owner is in trouble.

I heard this bike just might get to see the dyno monday. With a direct comparision of rw pipe vs big gun and tm 45 vs tm 48. Should be interesting.
