i was wondering if anybody has a speedometer on there ds650, i would like to get one, i live in edmonton does any body know where i can find one or just who makes it,

I use my GPS 5 which has a speedo. this has worked well for me & the bonus is that I don't get lost anymore

 

I have a little computer on mine, It will tell you how far you have gone, how fast, time to Change the oil, I does alot of neat tricks. I got it off of E-Bay.. around 80 bucks

 

I have a trail tech, worked fine for a long time, but I think I need to recalibrate it. Also it has 2 settings so if you want you can program it for another bike/quad if you get another wiring kit.

I use a garmin etrex gps mounted to my bar riser in the middle of the bars....works awesome. You can get the Trail-Tech setup from www.royaldistributing.com...they are a canadian site and will have it to you within about a week or so....its around 140 bucks.

If you are going to order parts from dealers you ARE going to pay more and will have less to choose from. Get used to ordering from companys such as dennis kirk and royal distributing and some online sites like alba action, ron woods and hpresearch. But Riverside once again could get that for you as could most of the bombardier dealers in and around Edmonton.

 

I have the trail tech but I can't recommend it. I've had bad luck with these units failing. I'm on my third one is 14 months. All replaced under warranty by trail tech.

 

My trailtech has worked fine for about 3 years.
