i am not fixated on the top speed of the bikes i have. it just bothers me when someone comes in and says that theres no way it could do it. i myself have the experience of watching the speedo's on 650's and 800's reach mid 70's up to 81mph. in which ppl come on here and say that is not possible. i will repeat again, this was on the digital speedometer not the analog there was no misreading the speedo. for you doubters, strattle one and try it. i would be glad to let you ride my 650. seeing is believing, i have seen, rode and raced. therefore i believe.

Don't know who you are referring to..But I'm sided with you.The following is a part of my earlier post: "While I love going fast ( I like the adrenaline rush ), I realize that quads do not go 90+ mph, unless they are modded up REALLY well - It is possible. "

If they want to keep their quads the way they are, that's fine.
For "all" the rest of us,we'll just keep modifing our quads.
"BACK TO THE ORIGINAL QUESTION!"
I have heard alot of good things about the 800 outlander.
I have heard they are very fast considering how big they are.
Not sure on the top speed, but it would be scary fast for people that like to go slow.
Sorry,couldn't resist.

I have been talking to some guys that have them and ride at St.Joe State Park.
We'll see what it takes for my sport to outrun them.
It's all in fun.

Should I call you friend or nemesis?LOL!
I can't wait to get to see this outlander beast in action.
I figure your outlander will smoke my sport.
Have you raced the guy at st.joe with the modified sport(yellow plastic)?
Seen any renegades yet?
As far as top speed,is it pretty stable topped out?

my buddy is the one with the faster 800 but another guy and i had it out there. i know the guy you are talkin about. he was there but had his shee last time. gave my 450 a hell of a run. we should be out there when it gets warmer. i hope so anyway. i just cant wait to see the bom's outty run. they are real stable at high speed, of course ya still gotta be careful. no renegades here yet......a friendly mechanic friend of mine ruined our demo opportuinity. he totalled the first demo outlander............so brp didnt send one this direction.
oh and friend works good. friendly competion is always more fun!

Yeah,he probably won't get it out till it warms up.
It's an alky burner.
What's the difference between your 800 and your friend with the really fast one?
Don't his' have paddle tires and some more stuff?
Is there a huge difference between the two?

mines a 650, but stock for stock it was a good run( im 145lbs and hes close to 300). he has the wood full exhaust and intake and paddles. just that little bit makes a big difference. he gets better fuel milage now too.
