my Renegade will outperform a a sport version of a Grizzly 700. yes, no, maybe?

The V-Twin Rotax puts out more horsepower than anything right now, i believe, so sport or not, the Renegade will out run a 700 Grizzly

Ok, mabey I could help clear this one up...At sea level, with a 145lb rider, with zero wind, on pavement and with proper clutching, the 800cc Outlander-non XT was clocked by an independant source, doing exactly 81.3 Mph.

Well I guess that just about sums that up then, huh? Lol. Cool. Thanks

That 81.3 mph agrees with the guy out on the pond ice just wrapping it out in place. Also with cc1999 dyno tests. Big difference is they weren't moving against air at 81.3 mph.
Edit: That's good to hear though.

What all of this should tell everyone, is that the clutch tops out at 80-81 by design, so no matter what the conditions are 81 should be all you can get out of one, no matter how much you mod the engine, to get more top end you will have to go into the clutch, or find a way to raise the rev limmiter. Good luck with the second one.

thats a broad question. whats done to the banshee? whats the surface your racing on? how fast at shifting is the rider? how heavy is the rider? tire type? it all has variables. Outta the crate.......hate to break your heart but a banshee has no chance.
from what i understand the renagade has an one more finger on the clutch than the outlander, that coupled with the shorter tires, and less weight would make it a bit faster. if you want more top end strap on a taller tire. i dont know about you guys but i dont plan on making a trip on the interstate anytime soon.....so 76 is good enough for my 650.
