I got the Lectron 48 with 90 degree cable and IMS gas tank. Is there any way to mold the tank to make more room for the cable with out jacking the rear of the tank up?

 

Bill, I am doing this as I type, awaiting the tank to dry before I heat and mold. I got the 46 though. Which 90 do you have; the short 90 (slips into top of carb) or the tall 90 (screws into top of carb)? Looks like even with the short 90 that I have, and a little remolding I will stall have to use a small spacer, maybe .5". I had the tall 90 at first and didnt want to bother with it, as it was just to tall, and Randall said he had a shorter 90, so I had him send me that one. If you have the tall 90, you best bet is to get the short one.
