Default need info for the best steering damper

I tried one 4 years ago and it sucked. It was a peps. Taking the ds back to the mountains and would realy like a quality damper that will hold up and not add alot of resistance to turn. any info input would be appreciated.

Dont get the alba, denton, pep or those type of piston ones...they do NOTHING except slow down the steering. Elka has one out and i forget the other name....but they go up on top of the bars if i remember right?

I have heard about one that has 2 pistons, is that a good option. Dunerider is this the one you have , if so , how long have you had it installed.

I have the Denton racing one and i think its the exact same as the PEP you had. Ive had it installed for about half a year....the most it did was take the vibration out of my handlebars for some reason....but it did that better than stabalizing the steering. These types do nothing...i think the elkas and that other brand actually work the way they should...say if you turn your steering normal speed you dont feel any resistance but then you hit a huge rut or something and the bars jerk REALLY fast one way the damper would slow down the movement of the bars and take it all.

Check out the Scott's and GPR they are the same design as the new Elka, and they have both been doing those type of dampners for years now. You will have to custom fab a bracket for any of them.

Just put mine on as Precision just started making them for Outy/Renegade. Pricey, but guaranteed forever. Top of the line.
