How do ya'll like your Outlanders???
Everyone knows how I feel. Although the drive system is awesome when plowing snow. Never slips.
I recently took mine apart to add heated grips and thumb warmer and those screw ***** from BRP used a different screw when the other 3 were identical. Some idiot ran out and threw a different type in. Disappointed to see them try to let one slide.

Hey Weewane, what exactly did you do for "water entry=fixed" also I was thinking I wanted to block off radiator from mud better, did you add screen or anything???

my dad has a 06 outlander400xt wit about 700miles on it..I begged him to get the 650 or 800 but he wouldnt!! owell this thing still outpreforms my cousins 01sportsman500... the 650 is the same engine as the 800 but the 800 has larger pistons. I just dont like the fully auto. sometimes you gotta ram it into high gear if your on a hill or something but overall this bike is a TANK, does about 55mph and we've pulled 800pound moose for the LONGEST time and never got stuck once. My firends are selling there foremans and sportsmans and gettin the outty's now lol

Hey Weewane,
I would like to know how and what mods you did to your outty, as I am experiencing a water problem no that I am grudging thru my pond.
I would also like to know what kind shocks that you changed to Kawiyowee.
I think the outtys great, I have had it for a month, got 15 hrs on it, the longer the break in the faster and more responsive it gets. I cant see the paying extra for the 800 unless your pullin or racing.... or maybe your just a power monger!!

sc2,
I have not gotten new shocks/springs yet. Every time I think I'm onto something, somebody says they've lost ground clearance or some such.
I put the rear shortys on the front, really the only problem I have is ground clearance, 8" as opposed to canam's advertised lie of 12".
Going to wait until I see something that will work and also give me GC. I'll try to remember to let you know, but afraid it's going to be awhile. What I know will work is about $400 for each corner, $1600 total, plus my labor. Pretty steep. Going to wait awhile.
