the one with two wires is the switch that turns the fan on.
the one with only one wire is simply a switch that makes the red light come in case of overtemp, it only has one wire cause it merely connects the negative of the light to the grounded chassis, the positive to the light is always live. the oil pressure switch is the same way - it merely connects the red light negative to ground. yes the oil pressure switch and the overtemp witch share the same warning light. so if you ever get a warning light, all you have to do to identify which one is the cause is to unplug them one at a time, the one you unplug that makes the light go out is the one that is the cause.

Okay, I tied the hot wire of the light to what I consider to be the hot wire of the fan. black and red on back side of plug and black and blue on front side. I assume the two blacks come together as the ground and then that leaves the hot wires as the red and blue...
