I was hopeing for more. but nothing is as good as you want it to be. I thought there would be a bigger difference than 5LBS. less than a yfz. I still like it. I will probably put my yfz on craigs list or something.

How did you come up with 5 lbs less than a YFZ? I didn't hear them tell the weight.

All I saw was 15% better power to weight ratio that the TRX450 that weighs 350 lbs dry and a 9% increase in power over the Honda.

That brought me to 333 lbs dry.

I sure could have missed something though......

It does say in the video the frame is 5 lbs lighter then the comptetition or something along those lines, it is 5 lbs lighter, which im not sure if thats a huge difference, but if this quad is anything like their utility lines, its going to smoke all the competition.

they dont have complete quad details yet, so far just the frame is lighter, but that doesnt mean anything if the motor is a lead weight. Well see, I dont know if i really like the way it looks when they have a cam shot that looks down on the front end from the riders view, but I want to see the whole thing in one pic to see if its really any good. I like the no welds on the frame though...

Total dry claimed weight 345 lbs.

I was expecting more out of the engine also. Even by their chart the TRX450 engine is putting out more power through the revs until it redlines, then the Can-Am engine passes it and hits higher hp in the extreme top of its rpm range.

The front headlights are less than optimal from an aesthetic perspective, no doubt. Fortunately for me I have had to spend the better part of my life not caring about how I look! lol

As long as it functions well, that is enough for me.

It's a Rotax engine and it's the same head design from the Tuono and RSV Aprilia's. This thing is gonna haul the mail.

Now, if we could just get Aprilia to build us a quad with that 550 V-Twin in it...........
