I thought about leaving tomorrow but monday would be just to early and I know the wife and I both would be burnt out on the place by saturday

Well I am par for the course on this trip. I tore my bike down and replaced a head gasket today. Have it almost all the way back together. I would have completly together, but have my fingers crossed on a miracle part for me this weekend.

Tomorrow I tear my dad's bike down and give him some raised compression and some nice low end cams.... When done he will be a full stage 3. And if time is there, I will be tearing my brother's down on Weds to give him my old 11.5-1 compression CP piston.... With any luck, they will all be done loaded and ready for the road come Weds night.....

LOL . we will be on our way tomorrow morning with just 2 stops hopefully, locally for diesel and propane and then we will stop in fallon for gasoline and ice and lunch. hope to be in the sand by noon:30!
