I know this is the bomb forum, but you guys will help me out...I have a 660 raptor that is my buddy's and it will work wen the choke is on and when I give it gas it will cut out...I cleaned it and the diaphragms are good...If I held my hand over the intake just a little it would run better so what I have established from messing with it a while longer...It was runnign while I cut off air because only one carb actually is working and the 2nd isn't getting any fuel so I blew air through the best that I could and put it back on and the same thing is still happening...Do you think I should get them rebuilt, get a single carb or what...The passage from carb to carb is fine and the 1st carb is fine where the inlet for the gas comes in it's the 2nd that isn't working...thanks

Well I guess it depends on how much money you have :0) I have a 01 Raptor and my carbs work fine if I were you I would gut the carbs and buy some carb dip and dip them over night and then blow them out then replace the needle and seats to the floats and then check it again it sounds like your buddy let it sit and something got gummed up and plugged. If you have the money then go buy an aftermarket carb they are much better if you are going to pump up the motor.

It is a TORS system Throttle override system what it does is limits the RPM your motor can put out and retards the timing electronicley. The first thing I take off of a yamaha is the system on the emergency brake and the carbs on the banshee they are a pain in the but.
