The scary part is why does a new ATV need CVT parts already? Except for a belt change ever few thousand miles I never fooled with a primary or seconday clutch on a ATV or sled.
I just thought they were all bullet proof.

Sure the parts are on back order when they have to pay for them and do the work for free under warranty.
A person not under warranty and paying out of pocket can order any part in 3 shipping days and is ahead of the warranty line.
Thats why I buy used, with the money I save I can order more parts than I can ever break. Also up here the warranties are only 6 months long and run out most of the time with the machine sitting in the garage.

well- I do agree there should not be any reason to service a new cvt, for at least 2000 or more miles if ridden properly- but I'm sure out of every 5000 atv's BRP makes- there's a hand full that come off the assembly line with a defect or two- every manufacturer has'em.

Here is a way to see if your getting the run around on warranty back order parts part.

Call your dealer pretending to be someone else and order the exact same part. If they say it will be in in 3 days rather then months you know its all a warranty run around trick.

I exspect the belt to last 2000 miles before changing. The CVT clutches I would exspect to go 10,000 miles before servicing.
