There was a Banshee with one in it at Fallon over labor day.......it had a turbo too!

Personally, I would not go to to much trouble trying to fit that engine. It is going to take every part of a 750, to even make you grin. These heavy chassis need the 1000 imo.</end quote></div>

Those Honda 700 Frames might be worth a project or two ... maybe ...

what is the torque of a 600cc 4-cyclinder, seems it might be like a 4 stroke banshee (lots of rev low torque). they are cheap engines on e-bay. with a lightened frame it might be fun.

My answer to the original question about the DS450 is that I think that there are a lot of DS650 fans that want to see a new DS700(or larger cc's). The DS450's are sweet and look like they are going to rip but us gigantor guys(6'6" 280) are not going to have a decent quad to ride with all of the new technology. I love the raptor 700 but it still isn't quite big enough. I know that all DS fans want a new big bore sport quad so Yami doesn't own the market. Please CanAm, Please, listen to your fans. If you make it they will definately come and you will sell a lot of them. I wonder if manufacturers actually read forums and listen to what we have to say.

They have Honda to contend with now too... TRX700XX (looks awesome but has IRS

Doesn't seem to me like it would be reaching far at all for them to produce a DS800.
Sport tuning and adapted to chain drive.

The only things I could think of is possibly engine weight or mounting issues???

I mean weren't they the first to do a big-bore sport quad??? Why not the first 800cc sport quad?
They like to over-do everything, so I would expect at least 800cc... (smart moves on their part... no competition)

Mayito Performance Miami Fl. / Bombardier with 04GSX -R 600 Motor 1st day out - Video

there is a video of a 600 gsxr at this site, not sure how to do a link to it. interesting ride, seems a little slow off the line but picks up quick, sure the sand would show a different side.
