GSXR 750 DS?

The GSXR750 and GSXR1000 arent that different from each other power wise, except for top speed. And actually, the 750 gets better 1/4 mile times and speed, and better 0-60 times. Trust me, i tossed up the idea between the 750 and the 1000. I have a 2006 750, which has an actual top speed of 172mph, way more than enough to scare the crap out of me. It will stay neck and neck with a 1000 up to about 150-160, and the 1000 will leave it behind.</end quote></div>
What you need to calculate though is the ET from 0 - 172 mph. The 750 will take much longer.
The 750 does not have the torque in the upper gears. Upper gears are much higher load and require torque. This gives us information on how the different motors will react to additional load. As you know, these conversions multiply load by a hefty factor so I would probably equate 3rd gear acceleration on a conversion to 5th gear acceleration in the streetbike.
These motors just won't pull nearly as hard in the ATV with big paddles and heavy sand to throw.

Thanks guys for all the input. Not that this project is going to get any less attention but today I went and comitted a cardinal sin............I bought an 08 Raptor blue/black its perty. I guess this will make me not hurry so much on this busa project, thats good I guess.
What length of swingarm are you guys runnin on these beasts? And it looks like all the different bikes have a similar brace on either side of the engine, and it looks like a part of the frame has been removed. Guess thats the reason for the new brace eh. Thanks again guys.
