2007 Outy 800 stalls after approx 30 miles of riding-acts like fuel problem combined with over-heating: must nurse it home or to camp by sputtering for a little while then fine for a while - we do alot of desert wash and rocky mountain riding and it happens in either situation- in for service 3 times-can't find the problem-HELP!!

 

I have had some overheating also. Clean the radiator between rides as good as possible. I try to hit every water hole (not mud) that I can to cool it off every so often. Check with dealer on an alternative coolant.

That is one of the big problems with the big engine is the heat. One good thing is it tends to warm your legs and seat in the winter. lol
