Default Ds650, Pick my cams!

I have an 01 ds and i am looking to buy a set of cams for this thing. Is it possible to get a set of cams that make good power but are a drop in deal? Please tell me my options. Also, is it possible to air up the cylinder and remove the springs like a car or does the head have to come off?

I think Web 109's can be dropped in without shim under's. I've never heard of the cylinder pump up deal... pull the head, its not a big thing.

109's are still going to need the heavy duty springs done to the valves. Cheaper then the shim under conversion, but still needed. The HR2s can also be done that way. Anything bigger and badder will require the shim under kit.

When I put in shim unders, it was shortly after I put the motor together. I pressured up the cylinder to replace the valve springs. It worked. The only reason I did it this way was because I had a $75 head gasket and didn't want to buy a new one or re-use it and take a chance on a 730 head gasket issue we all heard sleeved motors had. Otherwise, removing the head is easy. Probably easier than compressing the springs with the head installed and in the quad.
