Default yet more ds ignition questions

After seeing how much my buddies 01 woke up w/a Big Gun cdi, I scored one for my 03 and am looking forward to plugging it in. What i want to know is if there are any other electrical modifications I can make to get it running more efficient. I know about the tune up items and have taken care of that, but there are components on ebay that say the help as well. Money well spent or voodoo science and snake oil???

Voodoo and snake oil. Besides a CDI and servicing/checking connections and plugs etc..., there isn't a whole lot else you can do to the electrical system.

Thanks, I guess I can cancel my order for "Natural Male Enhancement" pills as well! But seriously, what about the charging system upgrades that are available. Any merit to them???

They only make a difference if you are trying to light up the night...AKA add several more lights. They don't make anything run any better, they simply provide more amperage to compensate for more draw. If your battery is full, the charging system can't make it "fuller".
