All that is ,is to put your name in there. When you first turn the key on your name will come across the screen on the speedo. It's part of the anti theft.S o if the bike is ever stolen and some dumbas takes it to the dealer, they plug there computer into your bike and it tells whose bike it is.The computer tells everything about your bike. how it's been ridden and everything you could think of.

Also Andrew this should be a free service. If they tell you any difference argue like crazy, jump up and down, sit on the floor and act like a little kid who didn't get any candy. LOL you get the hint. They should do it when you pic it up,and make sure they do,they need it for there records as well as yours.

I was wondering how the D.E.S.S worked. They did ask me for my name after I had already placed the down payment. Maybe they were putting it in the computer. The dealership should becalling by wednesday to let me know when it was going to be ready. What do you run your tire pressure at?? I've heard people saying they went lower than stock and it made a big difference. Thaks agian man

4 in the front actually 5 all the way around til it feels right. But my bike is a lot heavier than yours. So can't tell you what to run you will have to feel it for yourself.
Also the conditions have a big factor in the ride.
