Default anti freeze problem

Bummer...And it ran fine when you bought it? I haven't heard of to many stock top ends blowing gaskets but thats not to say it can't happen.

Do you plan on replacing the gasket yourself, or having it done by a shop?

yah it ran perfect when i got it, this just happend today when i started it. it ran but after i shut it off and filled the anti freeze it was just going into the motor and burning up and shooting out of that bottle like the compression was pushing all the anti freeze out and burning it because i could smell it burning the anti freeze by the exhaust and i touched it and tasted it and it tasted like sugar

Yep I had this happen to me last year. Somehow I ran my DS out of antifreeze and when I filled it back up and turned it over coolant was spewing out of my exhaust on the connection. Tear it apart and replace it with a Cometic gasket kit. Might as well do a piston when you have her apart. I did and I love it.

I'm not sure what a shop would charge you to do it. I just bought the gasket and piston set, and my buddy and I tore it down and did it all our selves. The piston and Gasket kit was I believe $200 on ebay.
