Ds clutch cover
#4
That's good info OMR, but many of us have many of times done clutch work without draining any of the fluids. Just requires the bike be laid over at about a 45 degree angle. No fluids are lost, or contaminated, that way. As the link states you will be able to reuse the clutch cover gasket numerous times without replacement. Just be careful not to rip it while removing or reinstalling the cover.

That's what I was wondering. I didn't know if it was a paper gasket or rubber or o-ringed. Thanks for that info also. I just got the bike so I think i'm going to go ahead and change the fluids anyway. Any more pointers would be greatly appreciated.
