We are taking off Friday for a week at the Oregon Dunes.
I've been on the Raptor 700 for just over a year now. Love it.
I think the Honda 700 is a great replacement for the DS. Have you noticed how the seat comes up on the side of the fuel tank. . . very DS-like???
For ME. . . I was looking for a bit of a change. The new bike is much more nimble, lighter, etc. I don't think the Honda 700 will have those characteristics. From what I've read it isn't as much of a Dune Quad. . . doesn't have the power of the Raptor (probably a weight issue.) It has a tougher time power-sliding, etc.
Comes down to, what are you looking for.
Oh, Fuel Injection was a must for me and now that I have it, I'll never own a bike without it.
