1000 miles on a Popo. Good job. I have over 6000 miles on my Outlander and just changed the cvt belt. Didn't need too, but put a new one on and kept the old for a 'just in case'. Interesting thread on one of the bigger Can Am sites on mileage. I don't hold a candle to some of the guys. 20,000 miles and counting by multiple owners. Anyway, this is now a dead thread. Questions answered, action taken and all are happy....

Sorry, I was talking about one of the other posts and he was proud he had 1000 trouble free miles on his Popo. I guess diferent brands have different expectations.

Oh, Beergut, I forgot to mention, back when you where bagging on Popo's and I was in a mood, I have a buddy with an Outty 650 and his primary disintegrated. Going back to the 800, it's a great machine, plenty of power and nice ride. But, I though you didn't want to be one of "those guys"!

Cardiac, did you ever think that guy only had 1000 miles on his 800?? As bad as everyone bags on Popo's, maybe everyone has low expectations of them. I don't ride my 850 expecting it to break. I expect it to get me down the trail and back, and I've never been stranded by either Polaris' I've owned. Maybe I'm lucky, but likely it's because I do maintenance on them. Maybe you're just the Reconranger of the Can-Am section. And if the Gut has the dough to buy and sell quads *****-nilly, more power to him.

I know I know- and I have to take a little blue pill every day now to keep it from happening

I was mostly just poking fun- I know a couple of guys who ride popo's and I always loved busting their *****- I guess that's over with- or is it...

And if the Gut has the dough to buy and sell quads *****-nilly, more power to him.
I make a decent living- but I was only able to drop $5k on another quad because I sold one. I need to start saving my money though- spring is coming, almost time to unwrap the ski boat and wake it up- and that thing drinks 60 gallons per day of playing
