hehe- I was just about to post the same thing- you beat me to it!

The rene looks amazing- but I don't feel as warm towards the outty.
It looks boxier, like an xp or bf- I liked the narrow lines and front rack on the previous outty's. I'm also not liking the renegade style lights on the outty- again, looking at it from the front- you almost feel like you're looking at a grizz or bf...

bummer- cause can-am had a very "distinguishable" look compared to all the other atv's-

looks like it does have some nice storage in the rear and It looks like they are using a new chassis design also...

1000cc rotax- whoa! so long to the ac 1000- can't wait to see the numbers for the 1000cc rotax in the outlander!

man- looking over the new outlander front end- I really really hate it!
looks like they just got lazy and just adopted the renegade front to fit the outty-

82 HP.

And as for the front end looks, they don't surprise me. Remove the front bumper from this ATV and you've got a narrower version of the Commander side by side.

I'm glad they went to a more conventional frame. I wouldn't have been surprised if the 1000cc engine was able to twist the old one. I've always liked the looks of the Brute Force so I don't mind the blend of Renegade/Commander/Outlander, looks-wise. It would be a hoot to ride though. Can't imagine ever using all that power. Like the new storage too. They really trimmed down the trailing arm suspension on the new machine too. Looks like a great package. Imagine pricing in the 15K area for the 1000. We'll see.

Just a guess here, but I'm willing to bet the Polaris XP line will see the RZR 900s engine either this year or next. They've been awfully quiet... I love competition!!!! Just keeps making quads better and better!!!! Maybe the price of the 800s will come down....

man- tons of upgrades to the chassis & suspension BRP really seems to listed to the complaints and they addressed a few issues in 2012 like the cooling & chassis- I so need to feel that 1000 / 82 hp outty or rene- it has to just be a violent machine

I love how they say in the article "the front end feels light"... well duh!

is 1000cc really needed? they thought quads were too fast in the late 80's.... and now these quads are twice as heavy as the old racwe quads. i cant imagine what this thing is gonna cost... you could buy a brand new hyundai lol

honestly- no. there's plenty of hp for any style of riding in the 650 nevermind the 800 or 1000. But- since when has the minimum ever been good enough for us americans? I've had my new jeep GC up to 110 mph- why does any vehicle need to go over 75mph?
