Has anyone installed a tach on the DS and what kind would I need?

 

The tach I got from Ron Wood Racing $225.00 (949)645-0393 It normally is supposed to mount to handle bar clamps,but I didn't like it up that high plus one roll-over and it would be history.Installing it in the dash was pretty easy just cut a hole that fit tight around the tach and put silicone on the backside to hold it in place.The dash needs to be raised up 1/2 inch so the tach can clear the headlight,so at the 2 screws at bottom of the dash I put 1/2 plastic spacers and longer screws.At the top you just slide up the dash and re-tighten the 1 screw. The wiring is set up to plug into the factory harness(no spicing)
