I don't own a Bombardier four wheeler but have been riding Ski-doo snowmachines since '94 and know they are not without their faults, i.e. running boards bending. Who else has had problems?

I have bent a tie rod (my fault) hit a washout at 30 mph. now my A arm bushings are bad and upper shock mount bushings. Due to lots of mx riding. Other than that it seems to be real reliable.

I broke my wallet buying a DS. So happy to see them $2000.00 cheaper a year later.

Sand 45,
It's true. We both started riding in '84 and have bought brand new or very low time used machines practically every year. After spending time in the Polaris forum I got so riled up over people claiming those quads were trouble free and reliable I decided to post a broken parts list in every forum. I have a good idea that the "P" manufacturer is going to come out on the bottom, but we'll see.

Where to begin.........chewed chain roller, bent tie rod and a blown motor "not my fault", the bike was well maintained. But $3500.00 later I had a new one NO thanks or very little to Bombardier with the bike just 2 months out of warranty. All in all I love my Bombardier and would'nt trade it for any ohter sport bike out there, I'm just not pleased with thier Customer service. They were rude and arrogant, I received service alright I was F****d.

Ruined roller, and that's it! However I think almost everyone, including me has put some major dents in the wheels (and some beyond repair). They should have been rolled edge .
Who else agrees w/me on this one?

Blown Headgasket, Warped Head, Rings, Crank, Valve Guides/seals/surfaces, Chain Roller, Fan, Lower A-arms, Rims, Tires. You know, the usual stuff a brand new quad should break.

Riding on horribly rough terrain, I bent two of my rims a little (not un-ridable) and so I installed some new ones with rings. My chain roller died, so I replaced it with a skateboard wheel and (4) used bearings for $5. The stock fan died, so I had it replaced under warranty. Nothing else has broke on my machine. Though I added a few other things, for the fun of it.
