I have been having headlight problems lately. I go rideing and the filliment in the head light breaks. The stock bulb lasted 3 months and now the new one has lasted 30 seconds, and no I did not touch the bulb. It never even got turned on accept to test it when installing. I dont ride at night so I am not going to replace it till this winter when I do ride a little at night. I spent $20 on a super white bulb and when I whent to turn it on this afternoon to check if it still worked there was nothing. I can understand how the stock one died. I had done a lot of jumping on a mx track and had taken a lot of hard landings, but today I was just playing at the local sand pit climbing hills. Almost zero airtime and no hard landings. Has anyone els had this problem or know what to do short of removing the bulb every time I plan on jumping. Thanks for any input.

My headlight also quit with a broken filament. I bought a twin pack of bulbs at wal-mart but if I go through those I'm going to buy a heavy duty bulb with an extra thick filament. I saw them in someone's catalog, I think it may have been chaparral.
