Well, I have been using the paddle brats for the last year. They work very well in the sand, and do not tear apart when you have to go down a dirt road to get somewhere. I have just purchased some hypertech carbon fiber rims that look good, I am planning on trying the sand skate 2's on them and will report back to the forum.

Jimbo, Where in Jersey do you ride in the sand? I grew up there but have lived in AZ the last 20 yrs. I'm thinking about movin' back, but hate to give up Dunein'.

ledger, we do most of our riding in ocean county, the pine barrens offer Tons of Sand pits. BtW it is totally illegal to ride out here on public land so we are outlaws.I've been lucky so far only 1 ticket for 88 bucks.Ohh guys those carbons are sweet but i was looking to spend less than 200 on a rim paddle combo! Those bad boys are expensive!

Jimbostew i had the same question when I first got here. I borrowed a pair of 10 paddle haulers and tried them out. I loved them. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They are really good tires and provide ultimate traction for the ds.
