Not usable in Wisconsin

You guys should check out the Clark county trails if you haven't already. They are just north of the black river fall trails. The trails are only two miles apart on the northern tip of the black river trail, and the southern part of the clark county trail, sometimes referred to as Rock Dam. That would be an awesome weekend. Start at the Black river falls trails, ride up to rock dam. There are alot more than the 62 miles of trails that the state says.

TD, have been there before. The only problem is that the Black River trail does not connect to the Clark County trail in Hatfield. The Sheriff will give you a steep fine if caught riding the road/shoulder to get there. In fact when we launch in Hatfield, the local taverns tell us to ride through the campground S L O W L Y and then hit the trail. A lot of guys take the ditch to access the trail and that is also a steep fine.
We have been to Rock Dam Lake... very nice trails, tavern etc. The little cabin to the left of the Rock Dam Lake is for rent. On hot days, we have dove into the lake to cool off. Watch out the water drops off quickly. We thought about staying there and riding.
We like Clark County trails better than BRF since there are more of everything. Gravel roads, woods, tight trails, etc. Did you notice the big open sand hill play area about halfway between Hatfield and Rock Dam?. This was a great play area until the DNR put the stops to it. I believe you can still get into the area however there is a campground just around the corner where the DNR sits and listens for people to be in there only to ticket you.
