New DS/New problem

You might want to check the little clear gas tank vent hose that runs underneath the left hand side of the gas tank . If this little clear line gets pinched, it will cause gas to overflow! Try running with the gas cap loose and see if it still flows out the overflow.

The choke on a DS does not move far at all. Nothing like the movement of a 400EX lever choke. If I had a brand new quad I wouldn't ride the hell out it! But that's just me....

Mine occasionally doees the same thing. I am in the habit now of turning the petcock off.

The problem was a needle in the carb. It's all fixed now.
