Wiscrambler, Have you had any trouble with the beed slipping off while using Armor all. It dosn't seem like it would let the beed stick after mounted.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

The Armor All hasn't failed me yet. Bead stays solid and hasn't given me a problem.

I was so inspired by everyones praise for the tire changer from Harbor Frieght, that I ended up buying one yesterday [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Before I order one....
There is a concensus that the tire changer works great both on & off & that no-one has ever scratched the soft aluminum rim ???

Is this the model from Harbor freight that you have? tire changer

Just wondering.... They have that for $34.95 & another called a motorcycle tire changer for $39.95. Maybe the motorcyle is that only???

Andrew, The first tire I did, I scratched it up a lot. I didn't use soap and I didn't have it bolted down. I danced all around the shop with it. LOL[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

i do all my own atv tires car tires and do alot of 11r24.5 truck tires for my dad the hardest are the truck tires there so heavy!! but i just use a slide hammer a duckbill hammer and 3 bars

Call me lazy, but I take mine down to the Big-O dealer where I buy all the tires for my trucks and they usually do it for free.
