I run the k&n on the carb. The stock thumb will NOT work it dose not have a long enuff through. I went to a twist. Keven at fast by gast will ask you all about youe bike and then he well set the carb up for you the most you should half to do is a 1/2 tuen on the rod and maby change the power jet thay sent be 4 more to tune it in. the carb was 265.00 plus shiping (ouch shipping was 30.00 bucks i hade it overnighted to AZ) To install you will half to strech the boot some. If you want to see pic to to the othe forem and serch for (pic of lectron carb) IT is a vetty clean install. The instructions are not so clear. The aujusting is easy the instructions can confuse you realy easy. The rod is hard to turn you will think you all most half to break it but it will turn. all more questions just ask.

I orderd my lectron carb today cant wait to have my little gruby fingers on it! I will give a full ride report on it! What throttle cable are you guys using on the lectron????? I have the hpd billet Thumb throttle but it came with no cable. My carb should be here on monday so i want to get everything i need. thanks

My throttle from HPD came with a cable that worked perfect.
