I just decided to go with what everybody seems to think works better. Just got back from the shop where I bought the Engine Ice. I hope it works. Its supposed to be 95 and humid on saturday in the Tennessee hills.

I think Water wetter is also used in race cars, where rules dictate no glycol allowed, for crash and spill reasons. Too hard to clean up glycol during a caution flag, or so I've heard.

Water Wetter works great. We had overheating problems in our street stock car and decided to give it a try last year and we have not overheated once since. I am not sure if it will do the same in a DS but I would recommend giving it a try, it is a great product.

I run Water Wetter mixed with water. NO anti freeze. I've never had an over heating problem and I don't use a fan.

Royal Purple Lubricants out of Humble Texas makes the best oil around, and they also make this coolant additive like these products I.E.-Watter Wetter, Engine Ice....but I also run an IMCA Stock Car and our car is running a 406 Small Black and the rules say run a 2bbl. holley and it got up to 265 one night in a heat race and you all know that thats not good. So when it cooled we added a quart of Purple Ice from Royal Purple and it cooled it down a good 32 degrees...so in a bike it should form ice on the headers...

Water Wetter is the best.

What it does is not accually make the engine run cooler (it does a little bit) but it pull heat out of spots that regular coolent doesnt. This gives you a longer lasting engine because you are getting rid of heat spots.

It also makes water more absorbent to heat like previously mentioned. This is what aids the cooling.

And last it also has some chemicals that condition the rad and system and prevents corrosion.

You will not really notice the diffrence but your engine will and over time it might save you a little bit of a head acke.

Also water wetter will not freeze. I run it in my Mach Z skidoo and had some -20 nights. As long as your mixing it properly with the right emount of antifreeze you will be fine. Remeber water wetter is not a antifreeze it is more like a conditioner.
