I was riding down the road in 5th gear, running just above 1/4 throttle and it just died and wouldn't start back up. My friend went back and got my truck, picked my up and we brought it back 2 his house. It ran ok once we got it there. We pulled the plugs out and the outside plug still had decent spark but the inside plug was pretty much useless. We changed the plugs and it seems to run fine, has any else had this problem? Was is just the plugs?

sounds like a fuel problem bud she set for a minute and filled the bowl.with fuel and started back up.this is common and many have had to drill there pitcock and vent there tanks because in high gaers pulling lomg and hard they run out of fuel.just something to check out?

It may have beeen a bad plug (not too likeley) or maybe the plug wire was making bad contact? anyway if it happens again first thing to do is take off the gas cap, see if you hear air being sucked into the tank while taking the cap off, if you do it neans a blocked, pinched or kinked vent line for the gas tank, this has happened to quite a few guys
also there is a fuel filter screne[sp?] inside the tank on the fuel petcock but this has only been a problem for a couple of guys

there have been reports of loose connections on the coils. that may be your problem as well. the connections must be very tight on the coils and good grounds as well. as far as fuel flow goes, if the problem happens again , just loosen the gas cap to see if it will run again.
