But, has anyone heard the latest on the decibal law? I think we need to find out more before I make a 30+ hour trip to find out that I can't ride.

New Law

I see one problem about other people on your quad racing. If someone else is on it your quad should only be able to lose once. We have drags every other weekend, in conjuction with mud bogs, that lets someone other than the owner ride the quad. The problem is the same quad will drag four or five times, each with a different rider, win or lose. It takes up absolutley too much time.

The only 1,2,3 the DSs are going to get is the last, second to last, and third to last.

Whats the deal with the noise laws? Is it going to effect Glamis?

So where is everybody gonna be camping for the weekend? If we can make it for FSW's, we will probably stay at gecko and ride the dunes across to oldsmobile. I hate staying in the dusty washes on the east side. Get some major crazies over there anyways.

You shouldn't have much problems with the sound law, I have never seen them enforce for loud bikes, but they could always start. 90% of the dune vechiles (atv's and buggies) will be well over the limit.

For camping I will most likely be at pad 2.5 off of Geck Rd. t is right before Gecko Campground road.

Here is a map of GECKO ROAD.
And here are some maps of the GLAMIS AREA

We will probably be in the gecko campground as long as we can find a spot probably.

The idea is not to let a quad enter multiple times, That I agree with unless it is enterd into more than one class. The way I was meaning was more like a substitute "jockey". One being aloud per quad per class. That keeps it simple and no multi entries entering the event.

Guys, heed this warning NOW....dont worry about the BS laws(DB bullshite) that are never enforced anyways. That is why I remember King keeping this event officialy un-official. If you all worry about that crap the same thing will happen to this as to what happend to DS Days. The event was basically ruined compared to what it was on it's way of being. This was due to the BLM getting involved, and this and that and this and that. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO FSW'S!!!! Stick to the KISS system and everything will be fine.

My vote King, incase you missed it LOL, is to have the stock bore class. I am really curious who has the fastest, non power adder, stock bore quad.

Ohhh and if you think that it will be a Craptor sweep, I hope you have a rag to clean up after that dream your having.

Thaks alot for the maps.

I am glad to hear that the noise isn't going to be a problem.

I for one am with you on keeping this quiet. I don't want to see this get shut down.

On the thing I posted earlier, Did you see the date that it will go into effect? 01/01/03....Jan 1st 2003 I do not want to see this happen.

I will just sick back and wait until Jan. and see if they start to enforce it.
