Eaglecollector, Does your calculator use DS650 internal gearing or F650 internal gearing, they are different

I used the same data that Markynark has in his calculator. He has said that it was for the f650 and modified for the DS650. I was not able to find any gear ratios to confirm this. My shop manual does not give this information. Nor can I find it on the bombardier site. :-(. I have no reason to doubt what Marky has said though. He seems to know his stuff. :-)

The gear ratios you have used are the F650 gear ratios. The primary reduction ratio you used is modified from the F650, to approximate the DS650 gearing.

The F650 Gearing is:

2.75
1.75
1.31
1.05
0.88

w/primary reduction ratio 1.946

I was told the F650 has a 29% longer primary ratio than the DS, which would put the DS primary ratio around 2.51.

I was also told that the F650 5th gear is 9% longer than the DS, which would put the DS 5th gear ratio around 0.95.

I had the whole motor apart but never counted the teeth on all the gears. Someone must have by now. I'd like to get confirmation on the numbers.
