Barnett Clutch Springs??
#12
Tate, when your clutch started slipping the first time all you did was change the springs and not the clutch plates. The plates was probably burned pretty bad by then and the springs was just a temporary fix. I would change the clutch plates and keep on going.

Shane has the clutches in stock. They are between $70.00 and $80.00 I think.
If you want the Barnett clutch kit he can also get it also.
Randy
P.S if you want the Barnett springs I have a set that I have never used that came with my kit.

I just run the stock clutchs and steels. I run the Pami springs in one bike and the TVI in anouther. No problems with eather. Call Gary he'll wheel and deal.

My clutch slipped like crazy after adding some HP, so I got the RWR springs - motor only had 50 hours at the time I took it apart to install, and only half of that was with a slipping clutch. I measured the fiber disks while I had it opened up, and discovered that the 25 hours of slipping totally wore them to the bottom of the tolerance outlined in the shop manual. I replaced the fiber disks and put the RWR springs in, and now 35 hours later I still have no slipping - all is well, and I'm a speed shifter in the drags too. Since I have no slipping, I would assume that my new disks will last much longer - time will tell.
