It's my understanding that with the taller rear wheels to which you're referring, it has the same effect as gearing up, i.e., smaller rear sprocket/larger countersprocket. Is this correct?
I'm trying to gear down because I ride exclusively in the sand. I have 20 inch paddles in the rear and I want to get more brute hillclimbing power out of my Baja. My plan is to go with the 15/42 set-up. Does that sound right to you? I'm not at all concerned with the loss of top-end. Thanks again for your help!
