suspension????
Many things will help, but nothing totally cures the twitchy steering except for a pair of aftermarket upper a-arms which increase caster to anywhere from 6 to 9 degrees. Bigger front tires help, steering stabilizers help, lowering the rear will help, dialing in your suspension, especially toe, will help. But nothing will fix the problem like fixing the problem, which is too little caster. Just do it.

suspension????
this is kind of on this subject, whats wrong with the steering on the ds's, the only problem ive ever had is that it snow plows, pushes, i wouldnt say that its twitchy by any means. and would get new upper a-arm help with the push, i can over come this problem by taping the front brakes then wacking the gas to break the rear end loss. i have damn near got it down to perfection, in the group i ride with no one can leave my behind in the trails and im probably fast then all of them but i never lead the group cuz im affraid i might run off and leave them

suspension????
thanks. i tend to notice it most on more solid ground. theres a spot to ride on my street that i have to take the road to get to and the day i brought it home, it seemed to want to dart back and forth. ive kinda gotten the hang of it, but im used to my 400 ex, which seemed to be a better quad for someone at my low skill level. but ill bite my tongue about THat. lol.

yes we have all felt that front end twitch, when i put on timmy boy uppers and set the toe @ 1/4" in, tip in the the upper tire(camber) 2-3 degress, slight camber adjust, add a steering stablizer goes straight as a arrow!! the larger (weight) the rider seems the less front end twitch there seems to be.
