What Sprokets to buy?
#2
Rocky Mountain has good deals on Titax front sprockets and you can get the 15 tooth from them. I just installed it and have no complaints.
RM only has a stock Titax rear, which is 40, so you should go to Sprocket Specailists for that 41.

How hard is it to change the rear sprocket? This has probably been addressed before, but .......

It does not look that hard. The sproket is only on by 4 bolts. My guess is to pop off the front sproket to loosen the chain. Unbolt the 4 nuts on the sproket, slide it over to the hub I dont know if it will fit over the hub if you squirm it around, if not take the hub off.. I looked at sproket specialists site and for an extra 10 bucks they sell sprocket thats in 1/2. It just bolts together making it easy to change!!

ihad to take the hub off to get the woods sprocket on, seems like the stock one wouldn't come off either. and it took a impact to get that nut off. it was a pain since the impact was at the job. and the socket isn't small so i had to go buy one of those, but other than that it was simple. yeah now i remember they didn't want the thing to come off like my friend raptor, while he was riding, but he is lighter than the ds

I've bought sprockets twice from Sidewinder. Excellent service. Knowledgeable. I called them last Monday to order one for my Trailboss. I had it Tuesday evening. Highly recommend.
