Default seal leak @ front sprocket

went to change front sprocket and on the inside was wet with oil, also the swingarm has a fair amount of oil splashed on it, is the seal on the inside of the front sprocket replacable from the outside or do you have to pull the case apart? please tell me it comes off from the outside
