DS 650 clutches

Yeah, as soon as I piped and jetted, mega slip in the drags. Only let it go on for a couple of rides, but that was all it took for the fibers disks to be worn beyond spec. Replaced fibers, and got Ron Wood springs at the same time - good to go, aint slipped since.

heavier springs fix the slip for the most part. i had rwr springs but went to pami's heavier spring after 760 kit installed, it will still slip after back to back hard drag racing. i've heard of guys putting in an extra steel plate and or running after market disc but not yet convinced enough to switch from factory parts.

does the extra steel plate actually help, anyone with the experience on this, i'm going to order a new clutch today and would like to know

I put the Barnett 9 disk clutches in my rig, and so far thier great, But DSmike has had some clutch fibers come out in his oil change from his Barnett clutches, though they still don't slip . go figure.
But he is probably the most punishing person I have ever seen on a clutch 10,000 rpm's, and let here rip!!! LOL.
