Default Any good shops in the SF Bay Area?

Has anyone had there quad serviced in the Bay Area and if so would they recomend them? I need to have the valves adjusted and would feel better if someone has already had this done with positive results. Also would be curious on cost...

Thanks for your help

Anytime PowerSports in Sacramento charges about $130 for the 10 hour service which includes checking the valve clearance. Not too hard, we could do it easily (don't have any shims on hand though.)

DuneMe,
Thank you for the suggestion and offer :-) I have heard of them and was hoping to find a shop closer. I did read the thread about valve adjustments and it's well within my skills it is the time which I don't have so I'm hoping to find a shop close that can do the work. I do have a close friend coming over for dinner from Elk Grove this Sat, how about I send the quad home with him and I'll have you perform the 10 hour service on my 99 :-)

Thanks for the reply,
J

Anytime Powersports is the place to go. I brought mine there from Pacifica for the 10hr service and those guys really know their ****. Alot of the shops around here that sell DS's don't know anything about the DS but these guys are experts with it. Definitly worth the trip.
Pismo, where do you ride at? Maybe we can meet up and go riding.

Well,
I guess I'm off to SAC to drop this pig off :-) Thank you eveyone for your replys...

Jason,
I mostley ride at Pismo and very rarely get this thing in the dirt as I also have a CR500 I enjoy to ride at Hollister, Carnagie, ClearCreak, etc. I do ride with a pretty large group of guys that only have quads so I will send you a message and put you on the pdl. I read your bio and you should fit right in :-) We just got back from Pismo last weekend, I wish I posted this a weeke sooner.....
