Red and Green Stickers?
#1
There is another discusion going on in another forum about Red and Green stickers in California. I take it they are talking about registration stickers and according to some, the color of the sticker dictates when and where you can ride. I have never heard of this and have lived in California my whole life. Can anyone shed any light on this, thx, Putt

From what I underestand its like this. The grenn sticker can ride all year long any place. The red sticker however can only ride part of the year. What dictates if its green or red is two stroke manufactured after 97'. Also it must be above i think 70cc. There is another catch to it. If you have a 4 stroke that is above I think 11to1 compression (ie) cannoncrap, than it to is considered a red stick because of emissions. I could be wrong on some of this. What I heard last was that the locals parks were more confused than the riders and didnt really care about sticker colors, then again I could be wrong.

Red sticker means you cant ride from april thru oct. I belive and green is all year round. The only bikes that are getting red stickers are 2 stroke as what I have been seeing. Im not 100% sure but im pretty sure about this.
