BigWaynster, right now you are thinking about the time you will be out of commission. When it is over, you won't remember the time it took to recover.
I broke my back at Glamis on my Raptor in October and was medicated out of my mind for the first month so I don't remember it. The next 2 months were Thanksgiving and Christmas so I focused on family and eating too much. January I went to FSW's and did 1 short ride and spent the rest of the time with the film guys and boozing. February I went to Glamis and did 2 rides
Just take it easy and let that wrist heal. The price of disiplinle outweighs the pain of regret!!!!!!!!!!!!
Get well.

Just one broken wrist...easy. Try two at the same time Seriously though, I broke both of mine, the VERY first time I went to LS. Let's just say I learned really quick, the term "look before you leap" by going off something alot bigger than I assummed. Having both arms in casts up past my elbows made me pretty helpless for quite some time. Having my girlfriend wait on me hand and foot, and give me spongebaths was cool for awhile, but even that got old fast. While I'm still "gun shy" when it comes to jumping out there in the dunes, but I'm proud to say I am still riding. Good luck with your recovery, and get back on as soon as the doc gives you the green light.
