Default works steelers front shocks

ok now that i got down how to adjust the rear shock i need to learn about the fronts. sooo ever since i got my works front shocks on the front, i could never really understand how to adjust them. the instructions just confused me (im blond) lol, so does anyone know how to adjust my works front shocks? thanks in advance![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Default works steelers front shocks

I think all you can do to adjust them is to move the circlip up or down. You will need to compress the springs and you should see a circlip on the upper shock body. Snap it loose and either move it up (softer) or down (firmer). This is only for preload, compression and rebound are not adjustable on Steelers (I think). Be careful not to move it up too far, shocks will rattle like crazy and you could lose stuff.

Are the works steeler front shocks much better than the factory rider FX shocks.

dude ya they are way better, i havent adjusted them yet, and they still feel way better than stock. one of my front shocks broke. so i have to compress the spring to tighten it? are you sure?? is it safe to just leave it how they came out of the box?

brad, if you ordered the shocks for yourself( you told them your weight,riding style,etc)you should be able to bolt them on and go.
