I 'm not a pops crackazz. I am just saying I am not some backwoods tool just because I live in MI. You Cali boys think you are the shiznit. I was just trying to get some insight on this whole deal. My expertise was in bikes. This is a little different. Its a four stroke and I am used to the two strokers. Plus, I know darn well that I am not going to get 10 ponies out of the pipe. I did expect to see some increase and I haven't yet. So thats the end of this. Once I install shi* I will repost the results.

What works in California. I am at the same elevation.

 

i just didnt like how you said that the trinity pipe is no good when its a good pipe. and i dont care if you say my pipe is frumpy looking or whatever you said, its better than stock. i am also from michigan so dont think that i think i am the shiznit ok? evan if you think my pipe is ugly, at least i can tune my machine to get power out of it. Hey your right your pipe is better than stock. But it is frumpy looking... NOBODY, especially in these forums, can make me feel bad kid. It just sucks that I haven't found the sweetspot with that pipe yet. Michigan rocks.

Bigpink- You are 100 percent right, the raptors out west are no faster than the rest. We made a trip out to see first hand. What i was saying about the pipe- companies want you to believe they make 10 hp over stock but they don't. They may make 10 hp over the stock pipe at 2500 rpm or 10more hp after the stock pipe signed off. From doing some dyno testing on a lot of different brands of quads the raptor is the only quad that picked up more than a couple of peak HP. We should dyno a DS shortly.

 

Well, it has been 10 days now. Since the pipe "blows" he must have sold it by now and gone back to stock because "you aren't going to see a damn bit of difference.... except lack of power!!!!!!!!" LOL
