Default Quirky Clutch?

My clutch is acting weird right when I start.
I warm up the DS and let it run then I put it in 1st and it wants to take off. I have adjusted my clutch handle to proper distance. This only happens when I 1st start then the problem goes away after about 5min of riding.

Is this just the oil not lubing the clutch, (when cold) is this weak springs or early signs of my basket getting grooves in it

The oil that I am using is Golden Spectro 4 Synthetic/Petroleum Blend Sae 20W50 the Oil is @ level.

when you start your quad cold and pull in the cluch all the oil has driped off plates so they will stick together. next time you go riding after you start your quad, while its warming up pull in the cluch and release a couple of times to get the oil in there.

I actually had this exact same problem with my KLR650 and it turned out to be a bad clutch cable, too stretched out. But for some reason it worked fine when warmed up. After i replaced it the problem went away.

Well I went riding today and I tried pumping the clutch a few times. The problem was not as bad but it still wanted to pull.
So I will be changing the clutch cable and see how that works.
Thanks.

My clutch felt like that with 20/50 oil so I went back to 10/40 and the problem is near gone. The shifter is still a little stiff when cold but it's alot better. If you are running spectro gold synthetic you might want to watch out for clutch slippage with stock clutch springs. I run the spectro 10/40 regular and it works great.
