I use small amounts of blue locktite. Someone sugested trying silicone because it wont be efected as much by vibrations. I havent tryed it yet but if the blue dont work thats my next try.

Blue for me as it fits most small to medium size bolts. The red, I use on 1/2" or larger size shanks.

I use a little dab of rtv on the threads. I've never lost one and they can be removed without any problems

hinglbyds, has it right! I've been using RTV clear silicone on mine, and they don't vibrate loose and are easy to remove and re-install.

what i did was just went to a longer bolt so that if it comes loose you would see it before it falls out. i just went to the local hardware store with one of the bolt found a nut to fit it and then found a longer one with the same tread pattern. if i remember right the stock ones are only about 3/4" long and i went to about 1 1/2" haven't had a problem sence. i lost 2 sets before i did this and i have had these in for about 4 months now and they haven't even come loose.

just my 2 cents.
