Default YAMOTO 70CC

I have a Yamoto 70cc 4wheeler. I would like to say that I have had it for about a month now. We have taken it on 2 all day wheeling trips. The first trip the spark plug wire got melted to the exhaust, no big deal just fixed it. The second trip I was really surprised at the places my son and me were going, I did not think it go.
Now on to what I have done!

I took the baffle out of the exhaust, took the stupid restrictor plate out of the air box, and rejetted the carb with an 82.5 main jet. It goes real good now. I have an 85 main jet on the way, so I will try that and see what happens. Will let you all know.

The only thing that I have a problem with is the suspension. Other than that I would recommend this to anyone.

Thanks
Roman

P.S
I would really like to know what the bolt pattern is in regard to other major brand 4wheelers.

I have also recently bought a Yamoto 70cc for my son. I took the air intake restrictor out. It helped some but how do you get the exhaust baffle out?

At the end of the exuast pipe you will see 2 screws, take those out.
Then just pull all the insides out. Right at the end flat round peice is where
I cut the baffle out. I used a grinder with a slicer wheel.

Hope this helps.

Well my son hasn't got to ride it yet. It's a Christmas present and I have been "checkin it out" for him. Have you had any problems with the oil? I have heard that Chinese oil is not very good.

Volfan, Welcome to the forum.
I would not even start the engine with the oil from a chinese factory. In the mid 80's, the last time I bought a new jap bike, You were warned about starting the engine with the "fish oil" that the japanese used in all import's. Can't imagine the chinese are any better.
